Abstract
In this talk I will review the framework about factorization and resummation for jet observables at high energy colliders. In arXiv:1508.06645 we have constructed a new effective field theory which fully factorizes non-inclusive(-global) jet observables. Starting from the factorization theorem, we derive a parton-shower equation for the resummation of large logs. We have applied
our method to investigate jet mass and narrow broadening resummation. We also interfaced our parton shower code with aMC@NLO_MG5 event generator to obtain an automated framework to resum (next-to) leading logarithm of non-inclusive jet observables. Recently, we implement high-order corrections of matching coefficients, which resum next-to-next-to-leading-order logarithms for non-inclusive jet observable at the first time.
