The LHCb detector is a forward spectrometer at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. The experiment is designed for flavor physics, with a primary goal of searching for New Physics via precision measurements of CP violation and rare decays of beauty and charm hadrons. The delicate design of the experiment allows for a large coverage of physics studies, including hadron production and spectroscopy. Highlights from recent LHCb results and the prospects will be discussed in this talk.
