The Dark Matter Particle Explorer (DAMPE) is the first space-borne high-energy particle detector of China. Understanding the origin, propagation, and interaction of cosmic rays in the Galaxy is one of its major scientific goals. After the on-orbit operation for nearly 5 years, DAMPE has recorded quite a large amount of cosmic ray data. Precise measurements of energy spectra of electrons plus positrons and protons have been obtained. New spectral structures of those spectra have been revealed, which offer important information in understanding related physical problems of cosmic rays. This talk will overview the operation status and main scientific results of DAMPE.
